Every now and then, a movie slips through Hollywood's fingers with its original ending and the director's vision intact. How this happens is not important. What is important is that these movies receive their proper treatment and get the endings that the public actually want to see.

Ennis and Jack realize early in the movie that having sex in the butt with a dude is immoral and decide instead to live free of sin and temptation.
